Preparation

Ingredients should be at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 175°C (160°C with fan). Put the mix, eggs, and water in a bowl and beat at high speed for 7–8 minutes; then at low speed for another 2–3 minutes. Pour the batter into a greased mold (filling it 1/2 to 2/3 full). Bake without opening the oven door until the cake springs back when touched. Remove from the mold immediately and leave to cool on a wire rack.
